Hi - We are Douglas and Keri! In May of 2022 we quit our jobs and sold our home in Denver, Colorado to move to our 36 acre off grid homestead property in Cochise County, Arizona. Follow along with us as we build our homestead from scratch!

Clay and Dayna Greathouse and their daughter have opened their beautiful hyperadobe home in progress to us for a tour! They have done a beautiful job on it and it was so inspiring to see! Clay is a local Realtor in the Tombstone area and runs Arizona Desert Rat Realty. He specializes in unique, off grid, and rural properties. We also had the honor of meeting one of our long-time viewers, Wanda! Wanda is a local and she has given us some fantastic advice and mentorship since we started our journey. We have been so fortunate to meet some incredible people out here! Wanda's grandfather settled in Tombstone in the late 1890s during the Spanish-American war and was the one who restored the OK Corral! She is a real treasure and just a wealth of advice and information. We are planning on getting some more time in with Wanda very soon!
