how to make thai tofu satay with peanut sauce at home

1. 350gms of tofu
2. 1/2 cup coconut milk
3. 1 tbsp red thai curry paste
4. 1 tbsp maple syrup
5. 1 tbsp soy sauce
6. 1/2 tsp garlic minced
7. Salt to taste

Method:
1. Cut the paneer into strips
2. In a bowl mix together the coconut milk, maple syrup, red thai curry paste, soy sauce, garlic and salt
3. Marinade the tofu in it for 1 hour
4. heat a little oil on a girdled pan. Cook the tofu on each side for 7-8 minutes until golden brown.
5. Serve hot with peanut sauce

Recipe for the peanut sauce:
1. 2 tbsp peanut butter
2. 1 tbsp soya sauce
3. 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
4. 1 - 2 bird eye chili
5. 2 tbsp lemon juice
6. 1 tbsp of fresh ginger, peeled
7. 1 clove of fresh garlic, peeled
8. 1 tbsp maple syrup
9. Salt to taste
You could add a little water to thin down the dressing. Blend all the dressing ingredients together until smooth and creamy.
