Reject the Evidence of Your Eyes and Ears

In tonight's show, we have even more examples of how the novels 1984 and Rules for Radicals are probably required reading for anyone who aspires to political office. It seems as though people have been so hypnotized by the “machine” that they no longer care about what IS fact, only what is PERCEIVED as fact.

As Orwell said, “War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength.” While these terms seem outrageous to some of us, an alarming number of people can justify this nonsense. Ask the military Industrial complex, and they will explain how war is peace. Ask a politician, and they will tell you how freedom is slavery.
