Rising from the Ashes: Rebuilding the Legacy of Sierra Bible Camp at Lassen Pines

In July of 2021, our hearts were shattered as our beloved Sierra Bible Camp fell victim to the destructive flames of the Dixie fire. For decades, this beautiful area near Canyon Dam, CA, on the south side of Lake Almanor, had been a beacon of hope and transformation for thousands of youth. Since its construction in the 1950s, generations of members from our church and other congregations had found solace and spiritual growth within its serene embrace.

The loss of Sierra Bible Camp was more than just the destruction of a physical space; it was a profound blow to the spiritual fabric of our community. Over the years, countless memories were woven into the very essence of the camp, and its absence left a void in the hearts of all those who had grown up attending from various corners of Northern California.
