Harmon & Ising's Merrie Melodies

Following World War I, animation pioneers Harmon & Ising began producing bold, dynamic animated shorts,which they called "Merrie Melodies". These cartoons accompanied musical selections from the 1920s' "new wave" of experimental jazz artists.
