Amazing boiling puddles

While visiting Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming USA, Brent the cameraman got to see first hand the geothermal activity within the park .
These boiling puddles get their 199 degree fahrenheit waters from deep within the earth from a caldera which is a large cauldron-like depression that forms following the evacuation of a magma chamber/reservoir when a volcano has erupted.
The various geyser basins Yellowstone Park are located where rainwater and snowmelt can filter slowly into the ground, get indirectly superheated by the underlying Yellowstone hotspot, and then erupt at the surface as geysers, hot springs, and these type of boiling puddles.
There are many of these throughout the park which you can park along the roadways to watch, and some of the large geysers erupt on a schedule you can almost set your watch to.
An amazing natural occurance to see .
