How to Make a Leaf Ring

The ring in the title was a mock up of a design I made for a customer who was having trouble deciding on a final design. Just offering lots more sketches was doing the opposite of making a decision easier so I made a quick version of the kind of thing I had in mind.
It was so quick and easy to finish I thought it would be a nice ring for the Diamond Mounter channel so here it is!

The guide will be a 2 part show. In this first part I concentrate on the leaves showing you a few variations and how to make them.
Trees, branches and leaves come in millions of different shapes and sizes so the design options are almost unlimited for making nature inspired jewellery.

Once you become successful at making this ring the techniques will cross over in to making earrings and pendants also. The curvy and weightless nature of the design is ideal for jewellery and so its very versatile.
