This fingerstyle guitar lesson is part of a guitar course that teaches you how to play the guitar fingerpicking style, and whilst fingerstyle is most commonly used on acoustic guitars you can also play this style with electric guitar. Finger picking style guitar is used in virtually all styles of music and therefore is really useful to learn. Whilst finger picking guitar is most associated with acoustic guitar you don't need to learn fingerpicking guitar on an acoustic guitar as it can sound just as good on an electric guitar. Fingerstyle guitar is used in classical guitar, folk, bluegrass, rock, blues, jazz and virtually any style of guitar you can mention.

This is a series of carefully designed progressive lessons that will carry you through from an absolute beginner on the guitar to a good level of proficiency in fingerstyle guitar.
