Q: sex-hormone binding globulin [SHBG]: will eating only meat,
cause it to go up & testosterone to drop?
A: SHBG is high enough in carnivore dieters.
If it goes higher, we can easily monitor it
-old thinking: SHBG would bind to
testosterone & prevent it being active
-in fact: when bound, it still have
physiologically active
-the old thinking is NOT TRUE

Lean mass hyper-responder phenotype [Dave Feldman],
-on carnivore: LDL UP & triglycerides DOWN & HDL UP
-SHBG can be added to this phenotype
these almost always have LDL up & SHBG up
-multiple things can make SHBG go up;
but along with higher HDL & LDL;
lower triglycerides...
"This does not impair athletic performance
at all"

People, with chronic inflammatory conditions, will go onto
carnivore eating protocol-which are associated with low T...
-when inflammatory conditions are relieved by
carnivore eating, then
-testosterone returns to normal
Testosterone has diurnal variation so levels
vary throughout the day
