The Mayor whips up today's Segue City Special with Chicago and Christopher Cross as he sails on out of the studio and leaves everything in order for us to start the work week but we're not finished with the weekend and you shouldn't be either... looks like more liquid sunshine here but that's okay. The rain comes and then goes. It falls on everybody and is an equal opportunity picnic spoiler but tomorrow is another day and we'll see what that portends...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.
