Emefiele: Tinubu's Political Prisoner?

We look at the case of the suspended Governor of Nigeria's Central Bank, Mr Godwin Emefiele.

This man was suspended from office by the Tinubu administration, arrested by the DSS and later charged with 'ownership of shut gun and possession of cartridges'.

He was not charged with any financial crime.

Although the man was granted bail by the court, the agents of the executive arm of government decided to re-arrest him.

This is what makes Emefiele's case appear like that of a political prisoner.
