Sun Dried Tomatoes in the Dehydrator

These are a great alternative for sun-dried tomatoes in recipes and they are pretty tasty to just snack on if you like tomatoes. I love to dehydrate the excess tomatoes that we have grown in our garden.

How to make Sun Dried Tomatoes in a Dehydrator:

Ingredients:
Your favorite variety of tomatoes
Salt
Dehydrator

And that is it!!

Just slice your tomatoes in thin slices (1/4 -1/2 inch) and lay them out flat on the dehydrator sheets. I use the fruit leather trays to line my dehydrator for easy clean up. Sprinkle with salt
and set the dehydrator.
