Welcome to Day 217, August 5th, 2023. We read Josiah reigning in Judah. Hilkiah the High Priest finds the Book of the Law of Moses. Josiah restores True Worship to the Lord and observes the Passover. There is still impending judgement on Judah for the sins of Manasseh, but since Josiah had his heart right with the Lord, there would be peace for him. He dies in battle against Pharaoh Necoh king of Egypt.
