The Best Hip Stretch

Give this baby a go and open up them hips! A couple reasons I’ve found this to be the best hip stretch out there. 1 - The upward pressure on the non-stretching leg keeps the hips/lower back neutral by counter acting the tendency to tilt anteriorly. Why is this important? Often when stretching the hip flexors - the psoas in particular - a tilting forward of the pelvis or arching of the lower back happens, which makes it more difficult to effectively stretch the psoas muscles. 2 - being able to completely relax your body allows for more release of tension (imo). #hipstretch #hipmobility #hipflexor #flexibility #stretching
