US, UK scouts quit S Korea World Scout Jamboree campsite over extreme heat

The organisers of South Korea’s World Scout Jamboree are promising to salvage the event despite a heatwave.

Thousands of scouts have started leaving the coastal campsite in Buan and are moving to nearby hotels.

More than 600 scouts have suffered heat-related illnesses.
