Barbie Movie & Oppenheimer Review! (Spoilers) | The Movie Mob Podcast Ep.58

In this episode of the Movie Mob Podcast, RJ sits down with Matt and Nick to review Greta Gerwig’s #BarbieMovie and Christopher Nolan’s #Oppenheimer .

Christopher Nolan's historical epic about the man behind the Manhattan Project, starring Emily Blunt, Cillian Murphy, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr, Florence Pugh and Kenneth Branagh is finally here. But does it fizzle out, or go off with a bang?

The trailers and advertising painted the new Barbie movie, with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, as a fun, family friendly comedy. Is that how it turned out?

In their first weekend, both Barbie and Oppenheimer completely demolished box office expectations. Barbie taking in over $155 MILLION and Oppenheimer taking in close to $90 MILLION.

At this point, the real question becomes will these films hold up in week 2 and throughout the rest of their box office runs worldwide?
