Nehemiah 1:5-11 - Sincere Prayer to God - 7.9.23

Nehemiah prays to Yahweh, the God of heaven, and confesses Israel's sin (including his own) that brought judgment for which Jerusalem was destroyed. We should take note of the different subjects Nehemiah touches on in his prayer and follow his example.
