The enclosure is half way finished.
The next step will be perches, shelter and nesting boxes. It will take seven days to complete.
After this we need to plant greenery and protect it from the birds.
This is the night yard we’ve planted and even laid rolls of grass and nothing had survived the traffic. So we need to carefully plan how to protect greenery trust can grow and provide seeds and interest for the birds and make the area beautiful.
We have cameras in the enclosure to watch the birds.
After running free range birds they are decimated during nesting so cannot free range unfortunately during breeding seasons. Which vary between geese, guinea fowl and chickens.
