Before JAYKINDAFUNNY would have 750,000 followers on Instagram, over 2 million subscribers on YouTube, and an astonishing 26 million followers on TikTok at the time of this recording. Recent studies have suggested that the average person they spend somewhere around 100 days online each and every year, which is probably why so many entertainers are flocking board social media platforms to get a piece of the action. Now, one of the most successful of recent memory has been JAYKINDAFUNNY. Now, he's a young man who has seemingly cracked the formula when it comes to creating. Content that leaves a lasting impression. Now, not only has he popularized some of TikTok's Curly most viral catchphrases like Muñañyo, he's also been seeing the his following explode on the platform from around 500,000 to over 22 million in the span of just one year. Now, if you ever wondered how he turned himself into one of the world's most successful TikTokers and the kid's still in his early 20s.

JAYKINDAFUNNY was born Jay Ferrer on August 18, 2001, in the Bronx, New York, but he wouldn't live there for long. Now, at the age of two years old, he and his family, they moved down to Tampa, Florida, where he spent his formative years while growing up in the alligator state. Now, Jay's dad, he provided for the family by working at Walmart while his mother, she, took care of the house. Now, in his later teenage years, while Jay's parents, they would eventually split up, but even then, they stayed under the same roof and made sure to raise their son as best they could.

Jay locked into social media at the end of his sophomore year, inspired by some of his favorite YouTubers who performed candid interviews on city streets. The following school year, he began creating his own content and uploading it to YouTube, as well as Instagram. It wasn't an immediate success, but at the beginning, everything was just so fresh and new that Jay didn't care that his content wasn't blowing up. He was just having too much fun. He shot whatever came to mind and uploaded it in an attempt to find what worked best, never letting himself become too discouraged by his failures.
