The Secret to Speaking Confidently

How can you speak even more confidently in sales? It begins with our ears. If you start spitting all the right things out, but you're not actually listening to the customer, your message isn't gonna land.

The first thing that we want to do to become a confident speaker is to listen, become an active listener, understand not only the words that are being said from our customer, but what the meaning is.

The next piece is having the knowledge and the understanding. Find out what that weakness is so you can overcome that knowledge gap.

The three key elements to speak confidently to come across like you know what you're doing.

The first one I want to touch on is certainty.

Certainty is stating facts or statements confidently.

Number two is speaking with authority. Showcasing that you know what you're talking about, positioning yourself as the expert.

Finally we need to be direct.
