I enjoy getting away with not having to outline anything and bonus points playing with the saturation in the gutter. The blood splatter on this page was used as the primary reference for the remaining pages to keep blood splatter patterns consistent. There's a chapter in the second arc where a scene is nothing but blacked out panels -- that chapter either take the shortest time or even out from something getting overcomplicated or more detailed than usual.
