War is a temporary phenomenon, but music is eternal.

Poems from the Zaporozhye Front

Ninth month at war

Ninth month at war.
In the end already rabid,
All stays have been tripled.
Mobilized "under the gun"
Driver, cook, editor,
Civilians, in fact, not warriors.
Where is the staff?
Whose book is the combat charter,
Who devoted his life to defending the Motherland?
But the defenses hold the shield
Lawyer, elevator operator and gasman
Whose strength by all standards is running out ... But.
But we stand in spite of everything
unbreakable knot,
And the craft of war has long been mastered.
Accountant, paramedic, storekeeper
For the ninth month they hold the shield...
Civilians in fact, not warriors.
We are at home wives, children are waiting,
And we carry a tourniquet in the first aid kit
We sleep in dugouts, eat dry food and so on.
We have an automatic machine - a Siamese brother,
Here to go to the mat,
But I'll just leave the ellipsis...
What month are we waiting for the change
Making notches with a knife
And the blade on it has long been sharpened.
We know,
that the flywheel is not very fast,
But the deadlines are all, like yogurts - overdue.
We are burned by the war
Flight attendant, poet, tailor
And received many awards.
Not from the military all structures:
Foreman, electrician, plasterer,
For a long time already not civilians, but warriors.
