Mads was raised on a cattle ranch in east Texas, and served in the Army from 2004-2008, before being medically retired due to injuries sustained from an I.E.D. He was a cop for nearly 8 years, and studied philosophy and theology at Texas state. He's also written stand up for local comedians and was in improv for 5 years. He brings all of these experiences to his channel, MadBarber Entertainment, and his perspective on the cultural war.
