Episode 1411: She never suffers the fool

We finished the 6th apparition in the true story of our lady of Fatima which is also referred to as the miracle of the sun. It seemed so appropriate on this feast day of St Dominic and Our Lady of the Rosary as Mary described herself at Fatima to provide a clip from Fulton Sheen on his discussion of a movie that just came out in 1952 called The Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima. I titled this episode She never suffers the fool. The expression "God never suffers the fool" is derived from a biblical verse. It is often paraphrased as "God does not suffer fools gladly." The original verse can be found in the New Testament of the Bible, in the second letter of St. Paul to the Corinthians.

The specific verse is 2 Corinthians 11:19 (King James Version):

"For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise."

In this context, the apostle Paul is admonishing the Corinthians for being too tolerant of false teachers and those who are deceitful. He sarcastically points out that they seem to have no problem accepting foolishness despite considering themselves wise.
I applied it to our Blessed Mother because in 1917 she told mankind what would happen if we didn’t change our ways and we didn’t and all she predicted happened. Even the Miracle of the Sun witnesses by over 100,000 wasn’t enough for mankind to change. But back to Bishop Sheens talk on this topic is exceptional and I want to share it with you now.
