In this preview talk, we delve into the controversial relationship between atheism, Darwinism, eugenics and the Third Reich. Join us as we explore the impact of Darwinism on German society from 1859 to 1939, specifically in relation to the devaluation of human life. We will discuss how prominent German Darwinists advocated for a re-evaluation of biomedical ethics, including topics such as infanticide, euthanasia, suicide, and abortion.
