Romanian court releases influencer Andrew Tate from house arrest

Social media influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan won an appeal to be released from house arrest in Romania Friday while they await trial on charges of rape, human trafficking, and forming a criminal gang. “The war is not over for me until everybody understands I’m completely innocent,” Andrew told reporters outside his Bucharest home. A Romanian judge ordered the Tates to remain in Bucharest and the adjacent Ilfov county until October 2 and restricted the brothers from communicating with any witnesses or alleged victims.
