The current incarnation of the Dead, Dead and Co, which consists of three of four surviving members, plus John Mayer, Jeff Chimenti (the greatest living keyboardist; the keysman the Dead always needed, but never had) and Oteil Burbridge, continues to fill stadiums over half a century after the inception of the Grateful Dead, and 30 years past the death of the only real star in the band.
