Appraisals, Street Vendors & Vintage Bargains at Antique Fest!

We're window shopping just a few days ahead of Centralia, Washington's Antique Fest, where I'll be doing appraisals as 50 vendors join the vintage malls and shops of Tower Avenue with sales and even more cool stuff!

Exactly halfway between Seattle and Portland, the once-vacant 1910s downtown is now the Northwest's Antique Trading Center, with hundreds of dealers in several malls and shops! One weekend a year, it grows with even more goodies from 50 vendors of vintage and unusual finds, set up alongside my appraisal booth on Pine Street.

We take a walk up and down Tower Avenue, where everything from primitives to mid-century glass, repurposed steampunk to estate jewelry lure collectors here year round. Vintage lovers can even ride the train from the big cities to Centralia's 1912 depot and leave their cars at home, or eat and stay at the Olympic Club bar and hotel, where Tiffany chandeliers and giant mahogany back bar have spent their entire 110 years!

I started my antique career in this town, and it's so exciting to see how it's filling with antique and vintage galore! Enjoy our teaser video here, and please come visit if you're in the area...maybe something you bring will appear in a future video!
