Ford F-150 BoxLink Auto Retracting Ratchet Strap Mod | You can do this yourself!

In this video, I will show you how to use the box link plate to install a functional auto retracting stainless steel ratchet strap. This modification is pretty involved however, it is so convenient to have the straps ready to go whenever you need them. If you change trucks, you could simply take the plate along with you. In this video, I show you everything you need to do this project.

Here’s a list of materials along with links for some of the products

You’ll need a Stainless Steel, nuts and bolts appropriately sized for the strap retainer. You’ll also need an extra set of washers for the back plate of the ratchet strap bolt. You’ll need some Loctite. A hacksaw or grinder. And some general tools.
