Injured moray eel seems to hide from the camera man

While diving San Rafaelito site near La Paz Mexico, the camera man noticed this seemingly injured moray keeping tucked under a rock. After waiting a couple minutes for the eel to get use to the divers' presence, it repositioned and a great shot of the damage done to the eels jaw could be seen. Most likely obtaining this injury during a fight for territory, the eel appears to be doing just fine as he was approximately 5-6 feet long and looking healthy. This site just minutes out of the marina at Club Cantomar is gorgeous with tons of life, a must do if diving or snorkelling this area.
