IN THE SHADOW OF GOD’S WINGS, WE FIND REFUGE

7 How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God!
Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!
I know I've said this before guys, but I can't help but say that Ruth is one of my favorite books of scripture, as well as one of my favorite characters. This is a woman who shows such faith in God, as well as wisdom and virtue, that even in the face of the hardships that her and Naomi had, her trust in God, brought her just so many wonderful things, especially Boaz, and she's someone that I truly admire. The questions from this morning's devotional have provoked a lot of feelings in my heart, as well as had me thinking deeply about times in which I found through people that refuge from God. As such I’d like to share these questions from this morning's devotional with you, and I pray that God will challenge your heart through them.

When has someone given you refuge and how did it make you feel?

I'd like to share some things that God showed me from His Word this morning, through this blog I’d like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what God allows me to show you through His Word, how God is not only your refuge, but that you can be used of God to extend His refuge to those who truly need it. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you this evening, I'd like to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it will challenge and motivate your heart to want to be God's means of providing refuge and help for others.

How might you—in big or small ways—provide refuge for others?

One thing I know for certain, is that you don't have to have a lot of money, lots of space in your home, or anything special to be used of God to provide refuge for others, you just need to be willing. Ask God today to show you ways in which you could extend His refuge to others, so that they will see Christ Jesus in you. It's an opportunity to be a blessing to someone who really needs help the most, but most of all, it's a chance to be a light for the Savior. Are you willing to be God's refuge to someone who needs it most?
