Somali Ministry of Youth and Sports Chairwoman Khadija Aden Dahir was suspended after video went viral of an untrained runner taking twice as long as her competitors to finish the 100 meter sprint went viral. Dahir was accused of "abuse of power, nepotism, and defaming the name of the nation" in the selection of Nasra Abukar Ali to compete in the World University Games, who the Somali Ministry of Youth and Sports said "is not a runner."
