LIVE: Russian Main Naval Parade takes place in St. Petersburg with English translations

The parade in honor of Russian Navy Day takes place in St. Petersburg on Sunday, July 30.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, who will give a speech, has invited African leaders to the Russian Navy parade during the Russia-Africa summit in St Petersburg.

Russian Navy Day was established by presidential decree on May 31, 2006, and is traditionally celebrated on the last Sunday in July.
