* Host Kristopher H. Bilbrey gives an update on the senseless act of violence that occurred in his home city of Muncie, Indiana in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 30th, 2023. *

- At approximately 01:10a on Sunday, July 30th, 2023 a "Block Party" with between 500 to 1,000 people erupted into absolute chaos and panic after gunfire started! The first 911 call was made at approximately 01:14a and the caller advised shots had been fired & there were multiple victims! Some had been loaded into private citizens' cars and they were being taken to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. At least one man was killed and several others suffered critical injuries that required being transferred by medical helicopter to other medical/trauma facilities.

- The violence followed the victims to the hospital, where a large crowd of people had gathered outside the ER doors. Fights & the threat of other violence required a large scale police presence at the hospital. Police from the following agencies were on hand (either at the initial scene or at Ball Memorial Hospital):

- IU Health Hospital PD...
- Albany PD...
- Eaton PD...
