Another small day in HB

I liked the HELM Weekender Mini Simmons (Quad) so much that I decided to try out their Performance Fish. It has less volume than the Weekender but likely has a slightly higher ceiling for performance. These waves were a bit sloppy and difficult to surf. But I will try and get it out on a few more days.

Because it isn't my board, I used the fins it had on it which were MR Twins with a stabilizer. They worked pretty good but felt like they needed a bit more drive and hold. The hip (almost looks like a sting) is high up therefor it created a pivot point which felt like the fins weren't deep enough. A slightly taller stabilizer fins would also be helpful.
