The $1 Walmart skewer hack everyone's copying!

The next time you're at Walmart be sure to grab some skewers…

I've got two hoops here, and I'm going to start with this smaller one by putting some hot glue around the ring like this and sticking my skewers right into that and just trim off your skewers like this. I'm going to keep working my way around now adding a little bit of glue and adding a few skewers at a time so as to form the sides.

I want to use these longer skewers to cut off these little tips at the bottom and I'm just going to put a little bit of glue on these.

Now I'm just going to attach them to the base and start adding the rest of my skewers along here. I'm going to use this to go around the top of the basket and then I'm also going to go inside the basket and do the same around the bottom and stick a couple of handles on either side of the basket.

I hope this has inspired you to grab some skewers the next time you're at Walmart and make this boho-inspired basket.
