Nonprofits Revive Local News for Minorities

Traditionally news deserts are communities that have no access to a local news source. While most of us would immediately think of rural communities many minorities also fall into this category. The biggest issue is funding. But what happens when nonprofits step forward? Two different Hispanic news outlets are funded exactly this way and the impact touches thousands in the Hispanic community.
