Sarasota Florida - Sarasota, Florida is one of Florida's primary Gulf Coast cities, known for its world class white sandy beaches, arts, shopping, restaurants and nightclubs. Sarasota is a place to relax and unwind. Siesta Key has been named the #1 beach multiple times, but Lido beach is just as good with less traffic. The beaches in Sarasota are truly spectacular and the reason Sarasota has become so popular. Turtle Beach - Located at the southernmost end of Siesta Key is Turtle Beach, which is much less crowded than Crescent Beach & Siesta Beach and features some of the tallest dunes in the area. This is where you want to go, if you are looking for a more tranquil beach and want to avoid the larger crowds of the other more well known Sarasota beaches.

Turtle Beach has a boat launch area and fishing is permitted in the adjacent Blind Pass Lagoon.

Facilities include pedestrian walkways, children’s playground, pavilion, handicap-access, boardwalk, enhanced restrooms and plentiful free parking, boat ramp, kayak launch, picnic shelters, horseshoe courts, volleyball, showers to rinse off, and a popular campground.
