⚡ The drop followed Litecoin's third halving in its history since 2011. This event occurs approximately every four years, just like Bitcoin halvings, cutting miners' rewards in half and limiting new token issuance. According to CoinDesk, Litecoin's native blockchain token plummeted to $86, a level unseen since June 30. In previous years, the token's price usually peaked about a month before halving and then declined for several months afterward.
