► Patrick Mashonee (stalker of Kristen Pratt) - was sentenced to four years in prison after pleading no contest to 19 charges of cyberstalking against Pratt while the two were students at the University of Central Florida. Macchione stood accused of sending death threats to Pratt over Twitter and posting at least 27 lewd and threatening videos to her on YouTube in 2010. He also posted messages to her Facebook account and left hundreds of messages on her voicemail account.
► Jeffrey Polizzi (stalker of Candice Spivey) - he approached Spivey two years prior, asking her what she described as inappropriate questions. But Spivey recognized the man this time, quickly thinking to record a video on her phone as she chased the suspect out of a Target store. Spivey was shopping in the bikini section of her local Target on April 26, 2016, when she says Polizzi approached her. Police eventually caught Polizzi, charging him with reckless driving after he allegedly fled the scene.
► Ricardo López (stalker of Björk) - an American pest exterminator who attempted to murder the Icelandic singer Björk. On September 12, 1996, López mailed a letter bomb rigged with sulfuric acid to Björk's residence in London, then returned home, recorded a final video diary explaining his motivations, and ended it filming his suicide by gunshot.
► Prosenjit Poddar (stalker of Tatiana Tarasoff) - was a graduate student at the University of California, Berkeley from Bengal, India who carried out the plan he had confided to university therapist Lawrence Moore, stabbing and killing Tarasoff on October 27, 1969. Poddar was convicted of second-degree murder, but the conviction was overturned on the grounds that the jury had been inadequately instructed, and Poddar was released on the condition that he return to India.
► Derrick Todd Lee (stalker of Colette Dwyer) - also known as The Baton Rouge Serial Killer, was an American serial killer. Between 1992 and 2003, Lee murdered seven women in the Baton Rouge area. Prior to his murder charges, Lee had been arrested for stalking women and watching them in their homes. Despite this, he was initially overlooked by police, because they incorrectly believed the killer was white.
