Making this Ring from Pinterest!

Almost my entire career I have often been given designs to replicate using stones that the customers already own and want to use. It very rarely is a straight forward thing to achieve.
With this in mind I thought the Aqua' ring would be fun to make but using a large cushion shaped Topaz I have.
The Aquamarine rings collet has completely straight sides that match the stone so the challenge was to make a ring the looks the same but fits my Topaz that has very rounded sides and belly.
I wanted to show that with a little thought, most technical challenges can be overcome.
I show in detail every stage of the ring being made up to the point of joining the completed collet to the shank.
