Chronological Bible in a Year 2023 - August 3, Day 215 - 2 Chronicles 32-33

Welcome to Day 215, August 3rd, 2023. We read Sennacherib king of Assyria boasting against the Lord, causing Hezekiah and Isaiah to cry out to the Lord, Sennacherib is defeated and killed. Hezekiah humbles himself, wealth and honor is listed, and eventually die. His son Manasseh reigns and brings back idolatry and false worship and provokes the Lord to anger. Seducing Judah to do the same. Manasseh is restored after repentance and eventually dies. Amon reigns after and acts the same as his father Manasseh before his repentance. Amon is killed and Josiah his son reigns.
