Isaiah 50-51 "God is for Us!" 08/02/2023

The reason for the clarification on divorce is because there are several places in Scripture where the relationship between God and Israel has been described as a marriage.
Israel has defiled that relationship be committing adultery with the false god Baal.
Israel has left the marriage.
But what does God do about it…He refuses to divorce Israel…He says if I have divorced her show me the divorce certificate.
There is a beautiful picture of God’s love and faithfulness in His relationship to Israel found in the Book of Hosea.
