Generation Zero: Episode 1

The Story So Far
After learning of the deadly robot invasion and swift defeat of the military and local police force, our two unlikely heroes, BroaderCoyote and LivingVivid, struggled and labored through the southern islands of the archepilego region. Learning to fight and survive, the two became a formidable force against the small, nimble robots that patrolled the small islands. BroaderCoyote became a marksman rivaling that of the most lethal long range mechanicals, while LivingVivid learned the finer points of explosives and booby traps. Arriving at the bridge to the main island, the two thought they would surely find safety and friendly faces on the other side. Battle-scarred and fatigued, the duo’s hope for respite carried them across the bridge.
Alas, the main island contained only dissappointment and danger…more danger than the two could have ever imagined. However, after everything these partners had been through, they would not be dissuaded and would not give up the fight. They pressed north, clearing out a small southern chunk of real estate in the farmland region of the main island.
Here, they built for themselves a base with all of the supplies they had collected along the way. They established defensive positions, means to craft more weapons and ammo, a simple form of long-range communication, and most importantly, a place they could call home…but the robot menace would not allow this defiance to take place. Wave after wave, night after night, the robots brought forth their most lethal fighters to level the new base. The two fought with every ounce of strength they could muster, but their home fell to the onslaught.
Unfortunately for the robots, this only served to harden the duo’s resolve. The two vowed to press further into the main island, setting out to find the means to rebuild their home and destroy the robot menace once and for all.
We find our heroes on their journey to the air strip, where they hope to find supplies and much needed rest…………………..
