Small Raccoon Reaches Out To 'Steal' His Meal

We all get pretty excited when we see a small furry animal asking for food or even letting us feed them. They look so cute and helpless, making those sad eyes and clapping their tiny paws. One species of the animal kingdom that receive food for free just for being so cute are raccoons.

"Why go looking for your food in the woods, when you can find it right in your neighborhood?" is the raccoon's moto. Just drop into people’s yards and there you will find the hidden treasure of food. People’s trash and sometimes their generosity are raccoon’s favorite menu item.

They will eat just about anything they find or are given. Although this is generally true, raccoons do have definite preferences. Generally, they like fruits, sweets, bread, peanuts and peanut butter, but preferably cat and dog food. If you have some of these in your yard or hand, then be sure that a raccoon might follow your steps.

This tiny guy in the video first seems like he is hiding in the tree, scared of the people around him. May you not be fooled by that innocent look. At the beginning he is watching for his "prey", a small piece of carrot, then he slowly approaches and stretches his small paws in order to get the food from that hands that are offering.

Like a cartoon character, the masked bandit grabs the piece of carrot and retracts his ‘grabbers’ back into the hollow log! Laughs all around!
