1 Peter 5:1-3 New King James Version
5 The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed: 2 Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but [a]willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; 3 nor as being [b]lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock;

BY FEEDING AND PROTECTING THEM FROM THE CORRUPT "STRONG" GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA DEAR FRIENDS!!!
I found this morning's passage from Ezekiel very thought and heart provoking. I thought about what Winn Collier this morning's devotional writer stated, “The scriptures instruct those who have power (and all of us have some kind of power) to care for those who are weak, watch over those who are struggling, and tend to those whose bodies are broken.” The problem is, we're not doing that. We ignored those who need our help, and in many instances we oppress and take advantage of those people even more! I think that's why the questions from this morning's devotional really challenged my heart today, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and i pray that god will convict your heart through them.

How have you seen those with power watch out for the weak?

How have they ignored the weak?

I'd like to share some things that God showed me from His Word this morning, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you, will challenge, and convict your heart to want to defend and protect the weak from the corrupt strong. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends, and learn how you can love as Jesus loves, through supporting and defending the weak against the corrupt strong! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I wanna ask this paraphrased question that Winn posed in this morning's devotional, and I pray that it motivate you to want to help those who can't help themselves. “How often do your personal priorities, leadership philosophies, or economic policies demonstrate little regard for those in distress?” (emphasis mine). I challenge all those who have authority, or power of some type, to carefully think about how you use that power, and ask God to help you manage it well. Seek to help the weak and the powerless, but never prey on them. Ask God every day to help you do your job as unto him, by watching out for those who are weak, and making sure that they are represented and helped well.

UNTIL THURSDAY:

HAVE A SWEET TRANQUIL, AND BLESSED EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
