Stuttgart Arkansas PD Officer Hardin Bodycam 07/26/23

On July 26, 2023 I, Patrolman Colton Hardin, responded to a call at 505 South Wood Street for a fire in the back yard. The caller advised dispatch they were unsure if it was a bonfire the shed on fire. Upon approaching the area I could smell something burning and there was a lot of smoke. I pulled into the alley behind the residence and seen a fire in the yard that was unattended. Upon entering the back yard it was seen that it was a pile of copper burning. A female voice could be heard from the front of the residence and sounded as if she was arguing with someone. As I approached the front of the residence a white female with brown hair and wearing a grey shirt was seen walking up the driveway. I announced myself as Stuttgart police and told the female to come here. The female then hurried through the door, locking it behind her. Several attempts were made to make contact by knocking on the door, all unsuccessful. A different female finally answered the door, identified as Melissa Parker. I advised Parker to get the female that just went inside. Parker came back with another female who was not the female that was seen going into the home. A third female was brought out and it was the female who hurried into the home. She was identified as Morgan Wylie, and she was placed under arrest for obstruction of government operations. It was then discovered Wylie had a felony warrant out of Arkansas County. Wylie was transported to the sheriffs office, and then to the Arkansas County Detention Center.
