A murder suspect is on the run after allegedly stabbing a young ex-girlfriend of his in Springfield, Illinois.

Gabriel Calixto Pichardo, 25, who is wanted in connection to the death of Emma Shafer. Calixto was granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status at age 15
