The believer is not judged by the size of his gift or effort, but whether he has faithfully done what the Lord has commanded him to do (1Co_4:2). Especially when it comes to money, someone must be unquestionably trustworthy, faithful. These were the attributes of those whom Nehemiah appointed as Treasurers.
