The Bible shows us that our words are powerful (Proverbs18:21, James 3) and also that words are a form of seed that we sow (Galatians 6:7), from which we will reap a harvest or outcomes, based on the words we speak. James 1:26 shows us that "Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless." However, this is not merely limited to not using swear words or telling dirty jokes. The Bible gives us a recipe for success in our lives, starting with the words we speak over ourselves and those around us!
